Zambia’s National Climate Change Response Strategy – December 2010

Recognizing Zambia’s little influence over the direct causes of climate change, the country is preparing its response to the imminent impacts of climate change. The National Climate Change Response Strategy aims to make the country climate resilient and help fulfill the development priorities as listed under the National Long Term Vision 2030. In order to tackle issues of extreme poverty in the face of climate change, the strategy includes mainstreaming climate change concerns into the vulnerable sectors of the economy including land use, water, infrastructure, energy and governance among others.
