Adaptation Innovation Marketplace launched at Gobeshona Conference
At the Gobeshona Global Conference for Locally-led Adaptation, UNDP's Administrator and other key partners announced the launch of the Adaptation Innovation Marketplace (AIM) – a platform to scale up adaptation at the local level, focusing on civil society, NGOs, and women and youth innovators. With initial funding from the Adaptation Fund, Global Environment Facility and European Commission, the Marketplace aims to accelerate innovative technologies, practices, and business models for local adaptation.
