Indonesia Climate Change Sectoral Roadmap – December 2009
Indonesia being an archipelagic country of 17,480 islands has major concerns over projected and current status of coastal inundation. Together with housing 18% of the world’s coral reefs, majority of which are either completely or moderately damaged, the country is gearing up to respond to the imminent impacts of climate change. To this end, the climate change roadmap establishes a comprehensive framework of mitigation and adaptation actions in Indonesia for a period of 20 years (2010-2029). In particular, the adaptation actions are focused on the sectors of water, marine and fisheries, agriculture and health.
