Replenishment - Green Climate Fund

In October 2018, the GCF Board launched the Fund's first replenishment. This followed pledges for the 2015-2018 period of USD 10.2 billion, of which nearly USD 7 billion has been received to date. The replenishment is an expression of global solidarity and partnership with countries and communities most affected by climate change. This is a unique opportunity to accelerate and scale up global action to match the ambition and urgency needed to meet the climate challenge. Building on its success and operational experiences, GCF is poised to drive breakthroughs and transformations enabling the global community to meet their climate commitments. An ambitious and successful replenishment is key to our shared commitment to win the race on climate change.
