The video tells the story of the Wayuu people in Guajira, Colombia, in the face of increasingly harsh climate impacts; and the FAO project that is supporting them to rediscover traditional knowledge, embrace innovation and become more climate resilient and food secure. This resilience is exemplified by a focus on cultivating nutritious and agrobiodiverse species such as the drought- and flood-resistant Guajiro bean. The Guajira project is supported by the Scaling up Climate Ambition in Land Use and Agriculture through Nationally Determined Contributions and National Adaptation Plans (SCALA) programme, jointly led by FAO and the United Nations Development Programme.
