Transparency is a crucial ingredient in trusted development partnerships and climate action. The Paris Agreement established an enhanced transparency framework for climate change action and support provided and received by relevant individual Parties to United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. 

In this context, the UNDP Project Portal aims to facilitate increased transparency of UNDP-supported efforts to assist governments in accessing Green Climate Fund (GCF)  finance for climate change mitigation and adaptation. The portal focuses exclusively on UNDP-supported GCF-financed projects and programmes that are under development or already approved by the donors (GCF Portfolio Overview), providing access to the documentation, and information on the requested support and processes followed in facilitating access to GCF resources.
