Costa Rica SCALA Inception Report

This Inception Report complements SCALA Costa Rica’s project documentation with the outcomes of the inception activities. The report is in Spanish and also has an Executive Summary available in English. It specifies the SCALA inception activities undertaken by UNDP and FAO, in close collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Energy (MINAE) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG). To translate the priorities defined in Costa Rica’s nationally determined contributions (NDC) and National Adaptation Plan framed in the country's Agro-Environmental Agenda, five transformative climate actions have been identified contributing to national efforts on climate change adaptation and mitigation in the livestock, coffee and family farming sectors.
