The SCALA Programme Story

This video highlights the achievements of the ‘Scaling up Climate Ambition on Land Use and Agriculture’ (SCALA) programme, implemented across 23 countries since 2021. Supported by Germany’s International Climate Initiative (IKI), the programme is entering a new phase, extending through 2028. It aims to enhance adaptive capacity and cut greenhouse gas emissions by leveraging synergies on nature-based solutions (NbS) to help countries achieve the goals outlined in their National Adaptation Plans (NAPs) and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).
